A strong systems architect isn’t the same as a CTO, and a senior developer who grew into the leadership seat usually inherited the parts of the role nobody trained them for. Vendor decisions, budget tradeoffs, security and compliance posture, hiring, and the long-term architecture bets that are expensive to reverse.
Fractional CTO support fills the gaps without displacing anyone. In most cases it makes the person already in the seat better at it, because they finally have someone to think out loud with who has made these decisions before.

Every engineer we place is a senior developer. We don't staff junior engineers into client teams and bill for supervision.
If you need three or more roles, look at Managed Software Team. A full team at $20,000 a month includes leadership, QA, and business analysis you'd otherwise be assembling piece by piece.
Not sure which fits?
If you need most of a software function rather than one or two roles, Managed Software Team is usually the better structure and often the better price.
If you have a team that's capable but slow, Team Acceleration is a 90-day engagement to fix how work flows rather than adding people to it.
